Description
This nice example of the uncommon X 100 3 stereo integrated amplifier has been restored and sounds wonderful. Chassis has some lettering loss and oxidation. Incorrect bottom plate came from an FM 100B. Restoration work included:
- Replacement of all electrolytic and mylar capacitors, except the multi-section capacitor, which tests good. If new owner desires, multi section cap can be replaced for an additional $95.
- Checking all voltages and setting of the bias.
- Cleaning all controls and tube sockets.
- Thorough cosmetic cleaning.
- Tubes included are 5 strong and balanced vintage USA made 12AX7s.
- Matched quad of vintage USSR 6BQ5 equivalents.
